Winnipeg Ville is for the people who live here. These few rules keep it useful, kind and safe.

Do

• Be kind and respectful — the person reading lives near you.
• Keep posts local and useful: questions, recommendations, events, lost & found, neighbourhood news.
• Use your real name (first name and last initial is fine).
• Meet in public places for marketplace trades, and check items before paying.

Don't

• No hate, harassment, threats or personal attacks — including about any part of the city.
• No one's exact address, phone number or private details without their permission.
• No spam or advertising on the boards — companies can list their business instead.
• No weapons, drugs, alcohol, animals for sale, counterfeits or anything illegal in the marketplace.
• No scams: never ask for money in advance, gift cards or e-transfers to strangers.

How moderation works

Anyone can report a post, reply, listing or message. When three different neighbours report something, it's hidden until a person reviews it. Accounts that break these rules are closed.
